The upper part of the dock has a place to eat and sit and gaze at the sunset, with a gate that opens out for a high dive. Award-winning bass fishing right off the private dock, and cleats on the side of the pier to tie your boat if you bring it along. (We do have our own boat that stays in the boat slip, and cannot be moved). This lake haven is perfect for a family, a large group, or a business retreat. Come enjoy beautiful Fall and Winter sunsets, as well as Spring and Summer lake wildlife. Our lake home is 70% updated and remodeled. The upstairs portion of the house is older, and we like it that way! The kitchen has original wood cabinets and a small island. We have updated kitchen countertops to granite and new tile back splash. There are many spices and oils in the cabinets as well as coffee, tea, and honey. There are also some condiments in the fridge as well. There are many pots, pans, bowls and casserole dishes to cook with. There is a stove, a new fridge, a dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. There is also a second older fridge out in the enclosed porch area for overflow use. This home also has a huge, partially enclosed porch 30x50 with an awesome lake view. A small child's play/swing set is on the porch as well as a table, chairs, rocking chair, and a ping-pong table. There are some small toddler type beds downstairs for younger children as well as a pack-n-play that is available. A total of 4 king beds, 2 queen beds, 1 double bed, 1Twin bed, a set of toddler-size bunk beds, and 2 fold down couches. There are 3 bedrooms/2 baths on the upstairs Main floor level, and 4 bedrooms/4.5 baths on the lower level. The walk down to the upper pier is mostly a low slope walkway with no steps. There is no back yard grassy area to play in. ) My wife has a bad knee, and I built this lake house with her in mind to give her better access to the lake safely. There are approximately 8 "spaces" for parking in the front yard and one covered space in the carport. The front yard is mostly gravel with some landscaped areas. There is a 2-sided grill. It is a propane gas/charcoal grill outside the kitchen door for your use. Also in the bottom of the boat house is an outdoor fire grill that u can use wood or charcoal in. We have 2 canoes in bottom of boat house for your use. Please wear life jackets. There is Apple TV for your use to connect with. The router is plugged in on the kitchen counter. The Neighborhood: Our easement where you will park is part of a subdivision of homes located along the lake. We can only accommodate 6 vehicles or less. We have sufficient space for (1) pontoon boat, and (2) personal watercraft. Getting Around: We have a boat ramp for boats 22 ft and smaller. Otherwise, there are quite a few larger boat launches at the local marinas. Feel free to bring your boat and tie-up to our floating pier. Or, rent a pontoon boat from one of the local marinas. Otherwise, you can use our canoe, kayak, or paddle boat as you means of transportation to and from the island. It is only 350 ft across to the easement and fixed pier, where your cars will be parked. Other Things to Note: Feel free to bring your dogs, as they can roam free without supervision (in most cases). You are responsible for any damages they cause. House Rules: Will be Posted. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main level with a large kitchen, walk in pantry, large living room and a laundry room. The basement offers one bedroom and 1 bath along with a mini kitchen, media room (with a glass garage door), a pool table and a workout room. The master suite is located on the upper level of the home with its own porch and large bathroom. All rooms offer queen size beds except for the master (which is a king bed). The basement bedroom also offers a full over full bunk bed. This home is on Logan Martin Lake. It has a man made beach with a gradual slope into the lake. Bring your boat. The boat launch is literally next door. Perfect for any vacation getaway or friends/family gathering.

This neat Yurt is 15 minutes south of interstate I-20 & Talladega Speedway between Birmingham AL and Atlanta, GA. Located on beautiful Logan Martin Lake which is known for fishing and boating. Must be 25 to rent this property. No parties, loud music or lewd behavior. Respect the RV community. The Pacific Yurt sleeps 8 if someone sleeps on the couch. It has a private bedroom with two twin beds or place together for 1 king, a loft with 1 full mattress, 1 queen mattress and 1 long twin mattress. Heating and air. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stove, refrigerator, regular coffee maker & microwave. Charcoal grill on the deck. Bathroom has a stand up shower w/15 gallon hot water heater. We provide clean towels and linens for the beds. Deck is over looking the lake. No animals allowed or inside the yurt. The yurt is made of Vinyl and one swipe of a paw can do a lot of damage. Launch your boat less than a half mile away at Canoe Creek Landing then pull your boat up to your private dock and get your sunbathing on while sipping an ice-cold drink or try your luck at fishing and enjoying the Alabama sunshine. Bring your own paddle board or kayak to paddle around the point and park it at the dock where you can enjoy a midday picnic. After a successful day fishing throw your catch of the day on the new gas grill or make some s’mores over the fire pit with the provided wood. Inside you’ll find a newly furnished kitchen with full sized stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave for all your entertaining and dining needs. The dining room table seats six with great views of the lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises as you sip your morning coffee. In the Living room you’ll find a Lazy-boy queen sleeper sofa, loveseat,, and a 35 inch t.v. equipped with Dish Network so you never miss your favorite show or game. The bedroom has two new full sized beds and mattresses making the total sleeping accommodations up to six comfortably. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo making vacationing with kids a clean-up breeze. All bed sheets and blankets and bath linens are provided however A laundry room with a washer and dryer is available for use as well should you require to clean the linens as there isn’t a daily maid service provided. The property has a storm shelter and the home has central heat and air for your convenience. Trash bags and a starter of dishwasher pods and laundry pods and dish detergent. Along with a couple of rolls of toilet tissue and paper towels and also a few keurig pods are also provided. This rental property is a guest house to the owners home that adjoins the property next door. There is a shared driveway that leads to both homes on a point. The guest house Property is on the right of the driveway and the owners property is on the left. OWNERS LIVE next door and the driveway is the property lines for the homes. Triple Creek Farm is on the banks of Talladega Creek overlooking the historic Waldo Covered Bridge and old grist mill. Gold used to be mined in the local area and many modern day prospectors come from far and wide to pan Talladega Creek for gold. The farm is 20 acres of oaks, dogwoods, pines and wildflowers surrounded by the Talladega National Forest, with no neighbors in sight! It is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians at the base of Cheaha Mountain. You may want to spend your days fishing or tubing the creek or exploring the incredible spring display of wildflowers such as trillium, wild geranium and red buckeye. Perhaps you would enjoy mountain biking the miles of Talladega National Forest roads or the Chief Ladiga Rail Trial near by. Love hiking and backpacking, the Pinhoti Trail, the longest trail in Alabama, is just 2 miles away. Maybe you are a road biker and want to climb from Waldo up to the highest point in Alabama, Mt Cheaha. You can ride your bike out of the Triple Creek Farm drive way and do this. Just a few miles away is Desoto Caverns Park, where you can explore a deep underground cave, and spend the day enjoying their many family fun activities. Waldo is just outside the Talladega city limits. Talladega is home to the historic Ritz Theater and the annual April in Talladega pilgrimage of homes. So much fun to choose from... but, perhaps you just look forward to relaxing on the big front screened porch watching birds at the feeder and the lazy creek roll by. Then, of course, if you are a Nascar fan... Waldo is just down the road (about 20 miles) from the Talladega Superspeedway!
