6th Annual Casting for the Cure

Casting for a Cure is a local fundraising event to benefit The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day. Casting for a Cure is a family friendly fishing tournament open to all. The tournament is held at Pell City Lakeside Park on Lake Logan Martin.
The net proceeds from the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure™ are invested in breast cancer research and community programs. Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement.
Today, Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure® and the Komen 3-Day for the Cure, the organization has invested nearly $1.5 billion toward becoming a world without Breast Cancer.
